Norbu House
The Tibetan translation of Norbu is “flaming jewel”. With an abundance of dazzling sunsets, Norbu House lives up to its billing! Constructed throughout the winter of 2010/11, this facility has three rooms for single accommodations and five double accommodation rooms. There are two pine groves on our 65 acre property that are designated for tenting as well.
Meditation Grove and Jetavana Grove are designated tenting areas under a mature pine canopy. Both sections are a short walk from the main building and shower facilities. People who choose to tent are strongly discourage from bringing food items as we do have wildlife on the property.
Private Rooms
All private rooms have quick access to restroom and bathing facilities as well as our laundry station.
Single Rooms
Manjushri Room is on the upper level and looks out over the pond and the forests beyond.

Green Tara and Dolkar Rooms are “sister” rooms on the upper level with views to the east and our lovely rose garden.

Double Rooms
Chenrezig Room is situated on the upper level with views to the east and west overlooking the pond and Meditation Grove.

Buddha Shakyamuni Room is on the lower level of Norbu and with western windows captures the rays of the afternoon sun.

The Wish Granting Tree is a loft space on the upper level which can accommodate double occupancy. The highest point in the house, the Wish Granting Tree affords beautiful sunrise views over the adjacent fields.
