Description
COMPASSION AND THE FAMILY
A Domo Geshe Rinpoche Recorded Event
June 12, 2014
Pilot Mountain, NC 27041
How does the practice of spiritual compassion connect to family life? Family can be loving and supportive or even confused or discouraging toward our spiritual path. Rinpoche will talk about authentic, extraordinary compassion and what makes that different from other forms of compassion. Authentic compassion has a profound effect on personal and family healing.
Rinpoche discusses racism as compassion for one group and not another; and asks us to determine what is our version of racism. We discuss how atttitudes develop and what we can do to heal them with universal compassion. The problem is our attitude and how it causes clenching. Not feeling inconvenienced by others is kindness. We can fix it and become more skillful in dealing with others.
