Rinpoche explored the concepts of violence in the world and discussed how to end our personal attraction toward violence.
Teaching description
Rinpoche begins with a discussion of the dynamics of deity meditation. She asks “how is it that we believe ourselves to be solid and real?” ; “where do I put my identity” and worldly enlightenment. She discusses the difference between samsaric love and compassion. She asks How does our view of deity not include samsara? not include karma? and why are we attracted to deity?” She offers refuge. She reads from How to change your karma ch 9. Rinpoche ends with a discussion of Chenrezig and and empowered reading of the sadhana.
