We are offering an introduction to hospice care skills centered on creating a supportive and calm environment for individuals nearing the end of life. Directed by Domo Geshe Rinpoche, this program, based on Buddhist principles but accessible to all, is designed to help caregivers enhance their ability to provide compassionate, mindful care. In this initial training, we will cover Modules 1-3 of Level 1, which focus on key skills such as establishing a supportive environment for patients, understanding caregiver and care-receiver relationships, managing complex emotions, and cultivating an energetically calm presence. This foundational training includes lectures, experiential exercises, and group discussions to help caregivers develop the qualities needed for compassionate and spiritually supportive end-of-life care.
