A Domo Geshe Rinpoche Retreat in the Geluk Tibetan Buddhist Tradition

Session 2:   Aug 1-8  The Wisdom Teachings of Tsongkhapa with Je Tsongkhapa Empowerment  

Je Tsongkapa, the founder of our Geluk Tibetan Buddhist Tradition 500 years ago, brought together both scholarship and profound meditation practice to reach an inspired level of development and connection to true wisdom.   Join Rinpoche as she does commentary on selected texts, such as “In Praise of Dependent Arising” and others which explain Buddhism in such a concise way that it is easy to gain our own insights and wisdom. 

This session includes a TSOK ceremony.  

These 2020 summer retreats will be offered online with a combination of Zoom and conference call activities. Participants will be expected to create their own conducive home environment to support the retreat process.  Scheduled and more extensive personal meditation practice is a key element to bring the benefit of retreat. Participants should understand that it is a real retreat, along with the commitments for attending the scheduled activities as well as the special seclusion experienced in a teaching retreat. 

Cost: $350 per session.
