White Conch Dharma Center

Welcome to White Conch Dharma Center. We share with you the wonders of the precious transformative path to enlightenment, a state that Rinpoche sometimes calls, Alive upon Alive! Ignite your inner heart of compassion. Find answers to your deep questions: What is the purpose of my life? What is happiness? Is there a way I can help others out of suffering? How do I make life meaningful?

Domo Geshe Rinpoche teaches how we can end our self-created suffering and awaken deep compassion and wisdom. While being rooted in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition of transformative meditation, her teachings are skillfully adapted for Western students - with lots of humor. She founded White Conch Dharma Center in 2001. Click here for more information on Domo Geshe Rinpoche.

The Green Wisdom Light meditation is a unique Tibetan practice that has been adapated to avoid the misunderstandings Westerners commonly experience when doing Tibetan practices. People find this meditation to be very powerful because it provides a more direct experience of the Dharma instead of descriptions and analogies to contemplate. Contact your nearest location to find out when group meditations occur and to learn more about this meditation.

The White Conch is one of the eight auspicious symbols of Tibetan Buddhism, and represents the enlightened speech of the Buddhas. When it is blown, it can be heard clearly at a distance; yet if you are standing right beside it, the sound will not hurt your ears. Similarly, when an enlightened being teaches the path to freedom, it touches more than just those who are present.

Our precious teacher, Domo Geshe Rinpoche, teaches the proven methods of Tibetan Buddhism, and does so with an understanding of the western mind. Rinpoche is accessible to her students, and provides each one with personal instruction and guidance. Through her teachings, the dharma comes alive in our hearts.
