The Green Wisdom Light meditation is a unique Tibetan practice that has been adapated to avoid the misunderstandings Westerners commonly experience when doing Tibetan practices. People find this meditation to be very powerful because it provides a more direct experience of the Dharma instead of descriptions and analogies to contemplate. The White Conch is one of the eight auspicious symbols of Tibetan Buddhism, and represents the enlightened speech of the Buddhas. When it is blown, it can be heard clearly at a distance; yet if you are standing right beside it, the sound will not hurt your ears. Similarly, when an enlightened being teaches the path to freedom, it touches more than just those who are present.
